For our second exhibition we have invited the artist Nicolai Howalt, whose work has already been exhibited internationally, including at C/O Berlin, Nicolai Kunsthal Copenhagen and ARoS Aarhus.

Nicolai Howalt will show works from his new project F.U.N.G.I., which he created in collaboration with the Botanical Museum, NovoZymes and Professor of Mycology Henning Knudsen.

F.U.N.G.I. presents a "new collection" of mushrooms based on parameters other than strictly scientific or botanical. The work, which crosses the boundaries between science and art, touches on questions of existential ecology, time and the phenomenology of images, as well as the significance of mushrooms for our lives and our planet.
